Quote from Steve Durose's post:

"Both Decaturs are sophomores and both are committed. Also, Zach Steiner, a senior from Norwayne, is committed."

Yep I was going to mention Steiner. He's going for his second state title I believe.

Saw some video of Smith from last year at 170 lbs. He's a TD machine with a nice motor. Him & Myles will make great workout partners. If he can get to 174 in 2 years, the lineup of Romero, Smith, Martin, Moore & Singletary will be awesome!!

Great pickup. I'm still wondering where all of this puts Carr? Even with his loss to Mattox this year I still think he's a must get for 2018, but where would he slot in? Is 157 still a possibility? Am I just being greedy...

And what about Rocky Jordan? Will they go after him?

An outside observer told me he thinks Ohio State seems to be adjusting their recruiting philosophy a bit. What we're seeing--perhaps--is a concerted effort to recruit several wrestlers at a weight with the money going to the first who commits. Maybe I'm wrong...just speculating.

This could be the Anthony Ralph effect. There's a reason he was hired. And this increased activity in recruitment could be proof he's doing his job well.

Having said that--I doubt we'll see Rocky Jordan and David Carr in Columbus. Maybe one of them. Again--just conjecture.

Quote from Jeff Streu's post:

"I'm not too worried about Malik's size. Tomasello wrestled 120 as a senior and eventually got too big for 125, so I think a senior 113 (or even 106) can fill in nicely at 125."

Malik 106 now expected to go 120 his senior year.
