Justin...just to be clear, I don't think Jordan can beat Retherford. I just don't think the gap between them is as big as their two matches have shown. He's shown he can wrestle with Sorensen. I think he can wrestle with Collica...two wrestlers that have gone toe to toe with the Penn State standout. For the record, I don't see any of them beating Retherford.

Michael: I think the gap lies with the style differences, strengths, and weaknesses. Zain reigns pain from the top position. It just so happens that Micah's deficiency is in his bottom game. That mixture is leathal for Micah. Those opponents that have gone/can go toe-to-toe with Zain do not lack the bottom game as Micah does.

I understand.
That Bent Leg Turk/Bow&Arrow he hit on Micah was nearly PTSD inducing; I think Marky Mark's comments are also apropos for context.

Quote from Reed Vetovitz's post:

"The 165 from MSU, Drew Hughes, is a BEAST on top. I watched three of his matches, including one with Isaac Jordan, and nobody came close to getting an escape. He chooses top, and it seems like it is impossible for his opponents to stop him from throwing the boots in and riding them for the whole period."

I was looking at Kaleb Romero's wrestling history and saw he lost to Hughes as a sophomore at the Disney Duals 3-0. After watching Hughes at Big Tens it didn't surprise me he shutout Romero. I hope Kaleb gets a rematch with him next year.
