"Zain also held to TF instead of pin - just half a point, but still helps. Gulibon got a TF over Gasca, though, so that's big for PSU."

Gulibon must be ticked that everyone on the planet questions his consistency and feels like he's got something to prove."

Watching what Gilibon does in his last NCAA tourney is going to be fascinating. He has been as up and down as any wrestler I can remember. He's been that way his entire career. Like you said...consistency is has always been the issue."

I have been having this same thought since mid-season. The talent is clearly there. And when it's on the line and matters most, he seems to always pull it out. It'll be a serious uphill battle for the Buckeyes if Gulibon wrestles up to his ability level and stays focused throughout the tourney.

Buckeyes not in a good place right now. Pletcher will have to beat Ashnault or Caton + Gullibon just to make it to the AA round where he would likely have returning NCAA runner up Meredith. Joseph and McCutcheon also in good spots for PSU.

Darn, we're in 3rd by 2 points but not in a good place? :)

Anything can happen...I remain optimistic.

I thought so to and he is. I picked him for my 125. However, he is the younger brother of the guy you and I were thinking of. (At least who I was thing of). The guy who pushed Nate.

If we get 5 AAs, 2-3 of which are champs we have to be in the game. We are at least on course for that.

If Heil doesn't lose before the finals I want him doing my heart surgery. First round 1 point win. He must have ice in his veins with all these close matches.

So because 1 guy has a match he isn't favored in they are in a bad spot? PSU and Okie state are in same boat.

Yeah but this is the guy that almost beat Gilman earlier in the season. Remember they almost got into a fight because he crossfaced Gilman a couple times.

I knew he was the younger brother and picked him still. He mollywopped Shaker Lenaé 17-0 earlier in the year.

ps: ***really*** excited about tonight's prime time coverage of the tournament! Can't wait.
