In fairness, Mark, Wilmington dropped wrestling (effective immediately) on October 25, 2011. Yes, after their students were in school, and after their team had started practice. (They also dropped both men's and women's golf at the same time, teams which had actually started their competitive seasons!)

Was a brutally bad decision. I had two athletes on that team.

Per Jason Bryant, the AD at that time is still the AD at the school. Apparently he (the AD) agrees that it was a brutally bad decision.
