McKenna would go 141 unless there's an arrangement for him to move up to 149 and Micah to 157.

Micah has been seen looking LARGE! Obviously muscle max is treating him well.

Well, if McKenna comes then we know that's the plan.

Can anyone confirm that Hayes is recovering okay from injury and will be ready to compete next year. It looked like a serious knee injury when I saw him at the Missouri dual. I fear that McKenna may be needed at 141 due to Hayes will need more recovery time.

I would think regardless of the extent of his injury 12 months would be enough time to recover.

Any more word on McKenna? It's getting pretty deep in the summer for him to transfer, I would think.

Bingo, either an option, probably the latter.

wont be Lehigh, he would have said so already, its ohio st or penn st which ohio st usually loses these head to heads -- but not this time.

Supposedly the Bucks are also after Justin Meija (is that his name?) who de-committed from Illinois.

This is the new collegiate wrestling world--the best guys are gravitating to the best teams in an arms race.

Mejia 2nd 4xer Calif history but got whipped in Dapper Dan by Spencer Lee conqueror Austin DeSanto.

from AWN:
Justin Mejia Makes History
Mejia becomes only the second California wrestler to win four state titles. The huge state has only one class. Clovis head coach Adam Tirapelle posted on facebook, “I've wrestled in some big matches. But the weight of the world on a 17-year old kid going for his 4th state title was something I could only pretend to understand, and something most can't even begin to comprehend. I watched it buckle one of the toughest kids I've ever known and make him vulnerable, and I realized in the last few weeks just exactly what makes this rarity the ultimate accomplishment. It's not that there haven't been capable wrestlers, but the fact that almost no kid can deal with the immense pressure surrounding the feat. It's been a unique experience and a trying season, trying to get the best just to be the best version of himself and leave it all on the mat. I can't tell you how difficult that was for Justin Mejia but like a true warrior, he scratched and clawed and never conceded, like he has every time for the last 170+ straight matches we've been a part of. He's a special person in more ways than I can list. It was a remarkable journey and I'm humbled to have been a part of it. And though I'd love him just the same regardless, he's now part of the most elite club in California wrestling history, 4x California state champion. One of only two in 45 years. Amazing. Congrats champ.”

not a surprise as he (Meija) seemed committed to Mark Perry.

Longer it goes, more likely it seems McKenna will stay at Stanford.

Also Flo guys--Willie Saylor/Christian Pyles--pointed out on recent broadcast that Edinboro stud 149 who was supposed to be heading to Iowa has yet to actually transfer. Money talks.

Flo says McKenna is visiting Virginia Tech this weekend.

Is Ohio State still in play here?

If you want a shot to take out PSU, here's your lineup:

125: Nate
133: Pletch
141: Hayes
149: McKenna
157: Micah
165: Campbell
174: Bo
184: Myles
197: KoMo
285: Snyderman

To be perfectly honest, I don't think that lineup is good enough.
