"Losing Suriano was huge. They got zero points from a weight where they had a sure fire All American, a likely finalist and a possible NCAA champion"

Bucks had a similar situation when Hunter Stieber got hurt and they still won the title.

Another week and still no news. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for mom and dad to finally wake up so we can open presents but they're sleeping in late. I hope Christmas isn't cancelled...🙁

Surely someone has some insight. Anyone?

Quote from Drew Taylor's post:

"Suriano to Rutgers ain't happening, per Flo."

At first I didn't know what to think about Suriano rumor but now it seems to be more than likely going to happen. Suriano was the only one other than zain who is overseas on penn states wrestling team who wasn't at the camps last week. Also Rutgers starting 125 is transferring out. If bucks can land McKenna I believe they are the favorite

Don't forget, Cael Sanderson has no contract currently at PSU. He is negotiating for a better deal and having trouble reaching an agreement with the administration.

I saw this on another forum but thought everyone was joking. So it's true then that's kind of bizarre anyone would let it go this long especially the way the college coaching landscape has changed recently wowza

Wasn't a joke at all. I was joking when, right at midnight on July 1st, I tweeted speculating as to who might get the Penn State job, obviously, but I was making light of the fact that Cael's contract had expired. Frankly, the fact that it wasn't done at least a YEAR ago is, to me, embarrassing for Penn State. Would their head basketball coach (who hasn't even made it to the NIT in his six years so far at the school) ever be coaching in the last year of his contract? I highly doubt it!
