After an outstanding Day 1--Gold, Silver, Bronze--the USA has an even better Day 2 as all four wrestlers are in the finals....correction--Daton Fix is World Champ with 3 more to go. One more finals win and USA clinches team title over Russia.

This is a really impressive group of Juniors. Best USA team ever? You can just see that they will continue having success. I can't wait to see Gable Steveson in college and on the Sr FS circuit. He looks like he would be a stud as a SR already. WOnder how he stacks up against Gwiz.

Zahid goes down 7-5. Steveson is the last shot at wrapping it up...

If Kozonov loses, US wins team tile regardless of what Steveson does.

Steveson will win. Just a gut feeling. He's amazing.

These kids are so freaking good. The three champs didn't just win, they dominated on the World stage. Take a second to let that settle in. The future is bright for USA Wrestling.
Here's a question, in another thread Hank has asked whether Ohio State had addressed the introductory weight...Oklahoma State has Piccinnini (4th last year, I think) and they have Fix coming in. They're going to either sit a returning All American or sit a tru-frosh that could win the whole thing. You can't move Piccinnini up to make room for Fix because you have Brock. Brock can't move up because of Heil. It's amazing with all this talent these kinds of logjams don't happen more often.
