Who is likely to be PSU's 125 lber?

I'm not sure, they have 4/5 list d on their roster but all are underwhelming for what you'd expect from PSU - and nobody I'd expect to even make the NCAA tourney.

I'm very surprised the Big Ten granted him an exception. But I have no idea why Suriano wanted to leave and how these factors played into any decision making.

Best of luck to him and the Scarlet Knights.

Does all this stem from not wanting to cut to 125 again? Not downplaying a weight cut just wondering

All of it? Probably not. But I'd be willing to bet it was a part of it.

The fact that Penn State released him and the Big 10 chose to wave its transfer rules says there's a lot more to the story than weight class or homesickness...in my opinion, but I'm wrong a lot.

Flo has him ranked at 125 so.... if they are correct, weight cut has nothing to do with it.

Sure seems that way. Can't imagine the BT granting him a waiver if the Suriano's didn't have a compelling reason.

It's an odd situation. And one that has a big benefit for the Buckeyes as they try to win another team title. Not long ago, it looked as if McKenna wasn't coming and Suriano would probably stay at PSU. Then everything twisted. As a Michigan football fan, I am compelled to point out that Ohio State seems to get lucky a lot.

u have a point Hank however as Paul Brown said, "Luck is when preparation meets opportunity." ...of course coach Brown built a dynasty... for the past 2 decades team composed of losers in front office, ownership and on the field.
