Do you think Suriano will beat NaTo this season?

I think Tomesello wins that. Honestly, assuming he can hold the weight and perform like he has for three years, in my head he sweeps Suriono.

I'm rooting for him.
Pretty sure everyone can read between the lines as to what happened. He got hurt, couldn't compete well and was shat upon.
Way better to have a coach that has your back than one that is stabbing you in it.

Maybe--but we don't know that for sure. What if it was a difference of opinion with PSU wanting him to have surgery and Suriano not wanting to do it? Also a lot of rumors regarding Suriano's Dad being a difficult person. I realize you have experience in these situations but I can't assume you're correct.

Whatever it was, the B1G10 sided with Suriano, so that does tell us something.

Do you recall when he was injured? I thought Cael's in-match response was odd, even at that time when I assumed all was great with the relationship.
In retrospect, I think that 30 seconds illustrated that there was strain on the coach-athlete relationship.

I don't (and couldn't find a link to the match)...how so?

My memory of the PSU match with OK State is foggy, but I do remember thinking that Cael should have defaulted Suriano's match when it was obvious that his wrestler was seriously injured. Instead, he sent him back out to wrestle with a seriously injured leg.

The weirdest aspect of Suriano's injury is that I couldn't tell what happened. No obvious ankle twist. Just a sudden wince and he pulled up lame.
I don't know what to make of this situation. I admit to having a strong bias against wrestlers with meddling parents and that's the rumor regarding Suriano. Doesn't mean Cael was right or wrong. Just a personal issue for me. For that reason, I'm seeing Suriano in a negative light. I may well be completely wrong in this instance. Bottom line is I hope Nate mandhandles him when they meet.
