I'm not sure why, but I always had a feeling he would go elsewhere.
It seems we haven't seen Graham be a pipeline to tOSU yet...does it happen eventually with others not named Jordan?

Jayden Mattocks, Rocky Jordan, Ethan Smith, the NY kid. Is tOSU moving on from David Carr? I really expected him to commit by now if he was going to do it. You can't get them all but to lose him and Marinelli in the last year would be tough

I, personally, think Rocky is a 165. I see Carr/Sasso as lighter.
It raises an issue regarding money though.

Great to hear that Rocky Jordan is a Buckeye. Any time you land a top prospect, it's outstanding news.
Jordan probably projects in the 165-174 range with Carr around 149/157 and Sasso perhaps a 141. In theory you could have all three. I have no idea how much the Buckeyes have to spend and if it's enough to have them all. I tend to doubt it...but I really don't know.
If the Buckeyes land Carr--and I hope they do--it creates a bit of a log jam when you factor in Jaden Mattox. Then again, Mason Manville probably can't crack the PSU lineup and he is mighty tough.
Don't forget, Campbell is only a junior and Ethan Smith is a top prospect in the 174 pound range. And I'm not even taking into consideration a guy like Troy Steiner or the 2x champ from NY who's at 157. If Carr comes, Ohio State will have very competitive situations at several weights.

Congrats to Rocky and to Ohio State.
With not much of a national profile, it's hard to project just how good he'll be. But he's a Jordan, so he's obviously well schooled. And he has a tremendous physique. I'll take him in my room.
My guess is we see Jordan at 184 after a redshirt year. Ethan Smith also projects there. Kaleb Romero will man 174.
David Carr's still in play. I think OSU lands him, but it'll take time. He's committed to all five of his official visits.

Weight wise I don't think it means anything since Rocky could wrestle 170 or 182 this year.

I am glad to see another Jordan coming to OSU!
Regardless of weight and performance, that whole family is a credit to the OSU program and a model for doing things right, and we are glad to welcome another one home!

Campbell should be a senior when mattox and Jordan arrive which should allow for their redshirt. I also believe Ethan smith will be a 184 his first few years
