Losing Carr to ISU was a disappointment but TR and company rebound well with a great pick up in Sasso!

Definitely takes some of the sting off losing that one. Sasso is a huge get and coach Ryan has been chasing him down for over a year.

I think Ohio State is CLEARLY a top 10 team right now. Clearly.

I just saw that too. That's five in the top 52. Man this is a deep recruiting class. Hoffman, Sasso, Mattox, Heinselman, Jordan, and throw in the Texas kid. Very deep class overall.

Saw the Sasso video "who's #1" of him pinning the kid with the same cradle J Jaggers used in his 2009 quarterfinal match against Nick Gallick of Iowa State. The one where the guys got your leg and you scoot to the outside and put him in a cradle. J is going to love working with this kid. Way to go Bucks!!

Good match.
Sasso is an honest-to-goodness Iowa style wrestler. Love his aggressiveness and tenacity. He will be a crowd pleaser in Columbus. I said before that I liked him but could live without him. Well...I suppose that's still true but I'm really excited he's coming.
I've watched a little of Kinner on video. Lanky guy with some tricks up his sleeve. He's a returning NJ champ and someone the Bucks have quietly pursued for awhile. I think they feel he has a lot of upside.

Anthony Ralph, is doing the job, he is the best bucks have ever put in the position to develop perspective recruits, go after them, get them to committ for the dollars they are offering. Believe in future and build depth, solid depth not just numbers. IMO he is the reason the number is growing, add the room and it is hard to pass on an offer.

I'd have to agree. There's definitely been a sudden shift in the positive direction as far as overall depth goes. And also seeing big-time recruits rolling in too. But I'd like to add the Logan Stieber and Kyle Snyder effect certainly has to contribute as well. As does a recent NCAA team title. Remember when Coach Ryan was referred to as tNDG? He seems to be getting it done on all fronts now by surrounding himself with excellent wrestlers that just so happen to also be world class people in every sense of humanity.
