125 Mead? vs. #7 Millhof
133 #10 Plecther vs. ??
141 #7 McKeena vs. ??
149 #15 Hayes vs. #11 Marcua
157 #5 Jordan vs. #14 Shields
165 #8 Campbell vs.#6 Valencia
174 #3 Jordan vs. #1 Valencia
184 #2 Martin vs. ??
197 #1 Moore vs. ??
285. #1 Snyder vs. #4 Hall
Who will wrestle 125 for Bucks and will we see McKeena, Moore and Snyder?
Will the Valencia brothers move up? I have seen rumors they will but who knows.
Should be a good dual.

This should provide a nice early season test for most of tOSU lineup.
125: I suspect we see Mead at 125 as he won the spot.
133: Pletcher will wrestle the freestyle specialists Nasir who owns freestyle wins over NATO and Coleman Scott
149: Another good test against Rnd12 wrestler Maruca. Wins over Bannister and Maruca early would go a long way in setting the bar for Hayes
157: Shields had a solid 2016-2017 but stumbled at NCAAs. M. Jordan should win handily but Shields is a worthy opponent.
165: We will see how Campbell has progressed in tOSU room with this match.
174: I really hope Bo goes. This is a fantastic early season match.
285: I also really hope Snyder wrestles but I heard he was taking some time off. Any chance to watch him is a treat.

I don't remember where I read it, but I saw that Ryan said Moore will wrestle against ASU. I don't know about McKenna and Snyder though.

even though they're #13 in the country ASU provides a solid match-up for the Bucks and gives us an early season look at strength vs. strength in a dual format. I'd love to see the Bucks come out with the entire arsenal but I just don't think it's likely.

I will unfortunately not be able to attend, as I will be on a cruise ship in the middle of the Caribbean. My thoughts:
125 - Kramer outplaced Milhof at the MSU Open. Either way, 4 is a good number here. Key is for Mead not to get pinned.
133 - I think Pletcher is better than Nasir, but he didn't necessarily wrestle like it last weekend. I think he wins a controlled decision. Nasir lost to Thornton of Purdue at the MSU Open and took 3rd.
141 - Fitzgerald pinned Villareal at the MSU Open, but Villareal placed and Fitzgerald did not. I would expect a Villareal win here unless Fitzgerald hits his mixer again.
I've got it 7-3 ASU at this point.
149 - Maruca took 4th, losing to a wrestler from Tiffin twice. He did have a win over Davion Jefferies. I think Ke'Shawn gets a victory here.
157 - Shields won the MSU Open beating Crone (Wisconsin) 5-2 and Heffernan (CMU) in OT. I think he hangs close with Micah, but Micah is too much for him in neutral.
Bucks take their first lead 9-7.
165 - Valencia picked up 4 falls before losing to Massa in the finals. These two wrestled once last year with Valencia picking up a 9-2 win. I'll give him the decision here.
174 - The best match of the night! BoJo v. Zahid. I'm not picking against Bo here, but this is a pure tossup. Decision OSU.
184 - Anthony Anderson wrestled for ASU at the MSU Open, and went 1-2. Myles gets bonus, for sure. I think he gets a tech.
I have it 18-9 OSU now.
197 - If Moore goes, this is a tech or pin and the match is sealed.
285 - I'm picking Hall over Snyder right now!!!!!
Kevin Snyder that is. :)
133, 157 and 174 are all swing matches, and right now I have the Bucks winning them all.
If McKenna and Snyder go, the Bucks should win no matter what, but if not, this is a dual they could lose if they don't wrestle well.

Don't cruise ships have internet (for a fee). Ohio State is streaming the dual for free so it might possibly be watchable on the ship. Sipping a Pina Colada while sitting on a deck chair while watching the match sounds wonderful.

My wife makes me turn my phone off while we are on the boat, so no streaming for me. I do get to look at the internet when we dock in Mexico because our plan covers there, so I'll be able to at least check the results. :)
Go Bucks!

Good write up but Micah--who looked good at Princeton Open--is not likely to MD Shields.
With no Nate or McKenna, this dual will be tight. If Kyle doesn't go, it's a toss up. A lot will depend on guys like Mead and Ragon being able to last.

I'm assuming that Snyder wrestles because OSU's tweet had that as the #1 reason to attend the dual.

They wrestle in the Pac 10 which offers little preparation for the NCAA tourney. Smart of them to have some tough duals early.
