Anyone watching? PSU up 25-13 thru 197.

Difference between OSU vs Iowa and PSU vs Iowa is....noticeable.

Marinelli did upset Joseph. But PSU responds with pin-pin-major (Rasheed over Wilcke not even close, contrast to Moore's match.).

PSU is pretty ridiculous, as the kids say.

I was watching and noticed the same thing. Aside from the glaring difference at 165, the bonus points PSU got out of 174-197 were just impressive.
If I were Cael I'd start Shakur at 197. He seems to have the better ability at scoring bonus points. He's quite impressive.

Spencer Lee is the best 125-pounder in the NCAAs.

165 at Big tens will be bananas. I think someone had said that who ever finishes 9th or 10th may still end up a twelve seed at NCAAs. Let’s hope we see a different Tesean after a two hour weigh in. Seeds will be interesting

1. Marinelli
2. Imar
3. Cenzo
4. Massa
5. Lewis
6. Wanzek
7. Wick
8. Welch
9. Tesean...maybe

Why would Marinelli be seeded ahead of Imar?

You may well be proven right. But Nato on a one hour weigh in still scored the only TD and was close to scoring again. And we have no idea how he'll match up against a talented Darian Cruz or a large, powerful Suriano. Great quartet at the top plus others with upset potential just one step below.

I honestly think Tomesello is a step ahead of both Suriano and Cruz. I also think Lee is getting better and more confident every week. I look at Spencer Lee and I see Logan Stieber.

I’m not a transitive property guy, but look at what Lee did to Penn State last night. We’ll get another data point with Mattin tonight. Tomesello and Lee are likely to meet in the Big Ten semifinals and maybe the NCAA semifinals. This will certainly be fleshed out by mid-March.

my sentiments exactly, and as top/bottom expert Pat Milkovich told the AmWrNews crew after Nate's bout, "Lee uses torques, leverages, and balance...you don't need much muscle if you understand the dynamics and science of those forces."

"Plus, working hard to get out, and the almost getting out only to be taken back to the mat and having to start all over gets into your head… it makes you tired and frustrated. Lee is a one tough mother on top … it’s not easy to impress me, but how Lee pursued and didn’t quit with his pressure and direction changes when most guys in the behind position will just cut the guy when he’s up and has hand control… Lee did one hell of a job..how the next two match-ups end up will really tell just how good Lee is..." ... Yes i think we've learned.

It’s an assumption on my part. Both are undefeated in the league. Imar didn’t wrestle Cenzo or Marinelli. My thought is he owns the best win.

I'm as impressed as anyone with Marinelli but Joseph won't make that mistake again. Marinelli countered Joseph the same way Joseph countered Imar in last year's NCAA finals.
