How do you think B10 seeds will play out. I took this off an Iowa board and curious what you guys think.

1 Nick Suriano
2 Spencer Lee
3 Nathan Tomasello
4 Sebastian Rivera

1 Steve Micic
2 Luke Pletcher
3 Mitch McKee
4 Jason Renteria

1Joey McKenna
2 Nick Lee
3 Mike Carr?
4 Nate Limmex?

1 Zain Retherford
2 Brandon Sorensen
3 Ryan Deakin
4 Ke-Shawn Hayes

1Jason Nolf (Will Nolf be #1 seed? technically he has L with the default so would Kemerer get #1 seen since he is undefeated)
2 Michael Kemerer
3 Alec Pantaleo
4 Micah Jordan

1 Isaiah Martinez
2 Alex Marinelli
3 Vincenzo Joseph
4 Richie Lewis

1 Mark Hall
2 Myles Amine
3 Bo Jordan
4 Dylan Lydy

1 Bo Nickal
2 Myles Martin
3 Domenic Abounader
4 Emery Parker

1 Shakur Rasheed (I think Moore kids the #1 seed if Shakur goes)
2 Kollin Moore
3 Cash Wilcke
4 Hunter Ritter

1 Adam Coon
2 Kyle Snyder
3 Nick Nevills
4 Sam Stoll

It'll be interesting to see if Nolf is full go by then and who PSU sends out for 197.

Pretty sure the report out of PSU was Rasheed at 197.

From a styles point of view, I'd prefer Rasheed for Moore. But that may be wishful thinking. Either guy is really tough.

Those seeds look about right.

Who would have thought McKenna would be tOSU's only #1 seed?

It will be curious to see if Nolf gets the #1 seed if there is any doubt about him actually wrestling. Will the way PSU handled Suriano situation last year leave a bad taste in coaches mind and have them vote Kemerer #1. If Nolf does get #1 seed and then FF out and Micah is #4 would be good for him.

I was considering this exact same scenario too. It hurts PSU to do that IMHO.

I think Micah will get the 3. Pantaleo has A LOT of bad losses. Micah hasn't lost to anyone outside the top 6. Also, i think Moore will get the 1 as it looks Rasheed will be entered

I would think Cael would go with Rasheed because of the potential bonus points he could generate. He's pinned quite a few guys.

That and I believe he wins the wrestle off. I saw on twitter he beat Cessar 7-3 in the weekly wrestle off before the tOSU match.

I have seen he has been out with the flu but will be back for B10.

I wondered what was up. He hasn't wrestled since Feb 2nd.

Even Flo has an article on his whereabouts today. Safe assumption Suriano's participation may be in question here? Would Tom Ryan burn two redshirts to replace anyone in the OSU lineup for three dual meets that are irrelevant to the outcome of the season, or any other coach in the B1G for that matter?

I think Suriano being out hurts Tomasello. Hear me out...I think the winner of the Big Ten is your #2 seed at Nationals. Cruz is an undefeated, defending NCAA champion. He gets #1. I feel like Lee is the biggest threat to Tomasello. I was talking to a friend who suggested (and I agreed), that Tomasello’s best chance to beat Lee would be in the finals when he can hydrate up and be significantly the bigger man. Suriano’s absence makes that harder. Lee and Tomasello will likely be on the same side of the bracket with Suriano out.

Thoughts?
