Discussion Topic: Your NCAA Finals "Walk Out" Song: Post/List It

Appropriated from THE Might Cruiser...what would be your NCAA Finals "Walk Out" Song?

After much inner debate, RUSH-Spirit Of The Radio instantly causes me to rejoice and lifts my spirit (pun intended); I have no explanation other than something about the actual music really resonates for me.

My soul would smile and say, "Oh, yeah, it's showtime!" as it guided my mind and body out of the tunnel onto the mat:

The obvious one would be Lunatic Fringe........

Aside from that, Highway to Hell or Good Times Bad Times.

I'm going to assume everyone knows the bands behind those songs.

Great topic...I love Spirit of Radio...Very uplifting.

My choice would be the intro of Stranglehold despite the fact I think the songwriter/guitarist is a royal d-bag.

The music alone is enough, but you also get the wrestling-relevance of the title.

I would have used a Sinatra song, “My Way” but Mark Niemann, in a text conversation said he’d use Johnny Cash’s “God is Gonna Cut You Down” — and I have now changed to that choice. 😀😀

Okay, dig deep in the memory archives dot.net family:

Who remembers the blonde haired high schooler around 145 lbs who nearly won (Senior) Nationals with throws from anywhere at anytime from about 10-12 years ago and his buddy did an amazing video montage of his tournament/throws to the song “Stranglehold”? (I can’t find it despite multiple search configurations...not sure why I thought he ended up going to VMI.)
