According to the new Flo HS ranking, the Bucks have the following guys

P4P
#2 Paddy Gallagher-Sr
#11 Nick Feldman-Jr.
#19 Seth Shumate-Jr.

126
#13 Andre Gonzales-Sr.

145
NR - Gavin Brown-Sr.

I know Bucks are going after
P4P #6 Jesse Mendez-Jr. (Iowa boards think Bucks are favorite to land him)
Rylan Rogers Blair - was #3 at 182 a few months back but now isn't ranked so don't know if he is hurt or what.

Still need a 133 and 157 unless Paddy can make 157.

Is Hepner not an option for 157?

Wilcox competed in the 157 wrestle off also. He looked good if I remember correctly. I think they have some options there. Maybe they can find someone through the portal at 133.

It’s gotta be tough with this dead period continuously being extended. One of the biggest parts of OSU is the campus and the room. Both can’t be used as selling points. What about a guy like Joey Cruz out of California (120). Rumor seems to be that Gonzales is being looked at as a 133 potentially. I kind of assumed that Gallagher was going to be the guy at 157 next year. I’m not sold on Hoeppner yet. He is a big move guy and looks like a pinner, but even though he won two HS titles he didn’t materialize on the national scene at tourneys like iron man or Fargo. What about Vinnie Zerbin out of Illinois? (152). Top ten guy at his weight, and has some good national accolades. I have no clue who the Bucks are even looking at.

Joey has narrowed his school list two four programs. In alphabetical order, those are Iowa State, Little Rock, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State."

Shun ate and Feldman should both be too 10 heading into their senior year, so that class is off to a nice start.

Surprised Paddy was #2 P4P, who is 1?

Jesse mendes from Indiana who everyone is saying is a near a Ohio state lock is looking really good at u23 this weekend. Beat a college proven Patrick McKee 10-0. I am very excited to see him in the future. If Ohio state lands him I really believe they can be competing with penn state and Iowa in 2-3 years. Seems like a can’t miss along with Gallagher. Great building blocks to start another championship run.

What outlets have Mendes as a lock to OSU?

Not sure I have heard many outlets but many people on different boards including penn state and Iowa’s are pretty confident about it being Ohio state. It’s never a lock until they are signed I guess.

One poster on Hawkeye report wrote this
Jesse is a solid OSU fan..sat next to his best friend at who's number 1 and they stated he wants to go to OSU. His going to the meet makes sense since its OSU and just adds to his friends opinion. I'd love to have the kid but I'd also like 5 more kids from Pennsylvania.

Talking about why he was at the Iowa Ohio state dual meet. Everything I have heard is he is a big buckeye fan and we are the favorite. It’s also nice that penn state isn’t even in ball game.

T.J. Stewart competes for the prestigious Blair Academy and is currently ranked #39 overall in the class of 2022 and #11 at 182 lbs. In the 2019 Fargo finals, Stewart defeated #11 in the class of 2022 and #9 at 195, Mac Stout, 5-0.

Has Buckeyes in final 5 choices.

Cody Chittum just committed to Minnesota. He's gonna be a good one.

Apparently he is a Junior by class but with his age he is now considered by c/o 2022; so he's basically skipping a year of high school to wrestle in college sooner. Never seen that happen before.
