Flo rankings
125: Heinsleman #15 vs. Ayala #8
133: Betancourt vs. Schriver
141: D'Emilio #21 vs. Eierman #2
149: Sasso #2 vs. Murin #10
157: Hubbard vs. Young #11
165: Karchla #5 vs. Marinelli #4
174: Smith #7 vs. Kemerer #2
184: Romero #7 vs. Assad #18
197: Hoffman #19 vs. Warner #3
285: Orndorf #13 vs. Cassiopi #5

On a good day the Bucks win 3 and are competitive in two more. Depending on who the Hawks roll out at 141 there could be opportunities for Iowa bonus at 141 and 285. For my money I throw out Koontz at 133. Scrappy, awkward, and a veteran. That could create problems for the young Hawkeye. I think the Bucks fare better this week. If the Bucks pull out victories at 125, 149, 165, and 184 I think you are very pleased with the performance. Tough string of duals here with PSU looming in the near future.

ps:
133: needs to be a “W”
141: watch out for the cradle
165 - 184: the dual meet needs to start at 197!

I have rarely seen Iowa not ON FIYA for a dual meet. I expect them to to be full throttle on Friday.

I’m going with wins at 49, 65, 74, 84 and a slight upset at 25.

And I will be there to see it happen.

It's going to be interesting to see how Kharchla handles Marinelli's pressure in the neutral position.

Will be more ugly than the Michigan dual. Have the brewskis ready boys, gonna be a long night.

Agreed. My point is Kharchla likes to wrestle on his feet from space. Marinelli likes to wrestle from the tie ups and is always moving forward to get them. That may play right into Carsons game, I hope he takes him down 4 times. It will be interesting to see.

Funny thing is, I see Iowa as more beatable than UM.

My thoughts:

- Ayala is undervalued on this board. He's 2 weeks into his varsity career and already has top-10 wins.

- Murin and Warner don't score points. Sasso will win comfortably and Warner can be upset. Actually, Young doesn't score points either, I just don't think OSU generates enough offense at 57 for an upset.

- Karchla can go with Marinelli, there's no doubt. That is certainly winnable, I'd almost favor Carson.

- I don't think Kemmerer is a good match up for Romero but I hope I'm wrong.

If Iowa is at full strength I agree.

125- Iowa
133 - Iowa pulled a Kids RS last week and no one has a clue about Desanto.
141- Jaydin didn’t look good against Purdue kid and didn’t wrestle against Illinois but I expect him to wrestle
149 Murin upset Thomas last week but I see a controlled win for Sasso
157 Young barely beat Northwestern backup and runs hot and cold but would favor him over anyone Bucks put out
165 I could see Bull winning this match but Carson winning at B10 or Nationals
174 Kemdawg looked great and TF Purdue kid but Smith did MD him 2. I see this similar to Massa match and favor Iowa
184 Assad has wrestled well but I see Romero winning this one
197 Warren has runs hot and cold but see him winning by 1-2 pts over Hoffman
285. Cass has owned Tate and don’t see that changing.

Bucks win 1-3 matches.

Side note as good as Michigan is I would bet they don’t come close to beating PSU.

125 MI
133 PSU
141 PSU
149 PSU
157 MI
165 PSU
174 PSU
184 PSU
197 PSU
285. MI

Malik may be able to outslick Ayala, especially in their first meeting. Ayala is not as physical as Suriano, so that may help.

I'm a big Heinselman fan but he hasn't looked like himself since Vegas. He's not going to beat Ayala unless he gets to his offense.

Marinelli has not looked good in awhile. I thought it was injuury last season. This year, I'm not sure.

I don't care if Bucks win, lose or get shut out. I just want to see them wrestle hard up and down the lineup.

Hoping Romero beats the hell out of Assad.

I've got nothing against Assad, but after the close loss to Amine I want to see a ticked off Romero destroy an inferior opponent.

Lineup update..DeSanto now listed as a potential. If he wrestled, money on him getting into it with someone in the crowd. The suffocating closeness of Covelli might trigger him.
