► Add to the Discussion Discussion Topic: 2022 HIGH SCHOOL STATE TOURNAMENT Rob Wagner added to this discussion on March 11, 2022 Starts today at 3pm. The format is now Friday-Sunday. (Hope they go back to Thurs-Saturday, especially with the time change this weekend.) Should be some great battles, looking forward to seeing OSU commits Geog and Brown. I will also be following the team race in D1. As I mentioned last week, Perrysburg is right on Eds heels and although they qualified 9 to St. Eds 12, most of those guys are ranked top 3. Although I want to see as many Eds boys in the finals as possible, I think they have several tough QF matchups and need to do major work in wrestlebacks to stave off Perrysburg. 1 1st round matchup i'm looking forward too is Penton and Joy, 2 guys who could easily be finalists at 120. I saw Elyria forfeited Penton, Trinski, and Burnett in the semis at districts. It looks like that may come back to haunt them as all 3 could make the finals or be in wrestlebacks early.
