Exciting news, as John Carrool University adds a women's team, starting in 23-24. This brings Ohio to four women's college programs:

NCAA
D2: Tiffin
D3: John Carroll
D3: Hiram

NAIA
Lourdes

There are a few more programs just over the border, who effectively recruit Ohio:

NCAA
Adrian College (MI)

NAIA
Indiana Tech (IN)
Siena Heights University (MI)

I would expect smaller Ohio schools to continue to add (I've heard many right on the brink). It'll be interesting to see what Ohio D1 shows up to the game first. Nationally, I believe Az State, Oregon State and the Ivies are very, very close.

IMO, this is great to hear.
My son is super involved with women's wrestling (he was helping at Adrian until he moved back to the Cleveland area) so I am sure he is happy about this.
