Hepner and Kharchla both have multiple years of eligibility remaining, and Welch arrives on campus this fall. It’s not a need, but again if there is mutual interest you get him. I wonder if this is more of a scenario where he just happened to list OSU as 1 of his 5 schools of interest and they are entertaining the idea. Why would he choose to go to Cal Baptist in the first place? At that time he looked like a lower end D1 recruit. Then he jumped levels (his words according to a Flo interview he did in January). He probably wants to be in a better environment. Do the Bucks need a 165?
