His career is over as a buckeye. Thought he could pull it off or get close to AA. Thank you for four great years. Just a little undersized but was always a solid contributor to the lineup. Good luck in your future

Bummer. I really thought this could have been his year to AA.
Best of luck to Malik in his future endeavors.

Always a class act. Never a question of heart. Technically a very good wrestler. I imagine he will be a very successful guy at whatever he does.

Ugh, very sorry to hear this.
My sense is that he's a very good teammate, and a great kid.
He was 20-4 this year.
That's one heck of a year.

Hindsight 20/20, I wish he redshirted freshman year.

His duck unders were slick.

Just a shame, and sad for Malik personally. He always competed hard and represented himself and the university well. Wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Dmn. Win or lose, I never once questioned his heart. Every match he gave it everything he had. Best wishes to him.

Tough blow for the Bucks but even more for Malik. Like Luke Pletcher and Kollin Moore in 2020, his career is over without a chance to reach his goal. Life’s not fair.

I cannot remember a season with so many injuries up & down the lineup, even #1 recruit Feldman injures himself in the wrestle offs and basically had no RS season. Talk about snake bit...

Malik is a great young man -- sucks so bad to have a career end as it did.

Does he intend to wrestle at the senior level? Want he a high level freestyle guy?
