Bucks have had an excellent tournament but it hurt to see Kharchla go down to Northern Illinois in the bloodround. Conversely, D'Emilio and Mendez both coming through was amazing. And of course Smith and Romero kept their composure under pressure to AA again.

And congrats to the the Slam Man, Sasso the Savage, on crushing Parco to make the finals for the second time. He has been outstanding.

Spencer Lee defaulting out is totally lame, to me that is gutless. Of course he’s banged up, but everyone is

I've thought all season that he looked vulnerable. He's a killer on top but if he couldn't crush you early (which was usually the outcome), the match tightened up. What he accomplished is amazing considering that he's nowhere near 100%. Maybe he's 50%?

A healthy Spencer Lee might have been the best collegiate wrestler I've ever seen.

As for defaulting out, I'm not going to question it.

I thought Lee was different, but it doesn't surprise me, it's an extension of their coaches, sore losers.

Can't imagine what lee is going through,
And I can only guess he's definitely not 100%. Not gonna hate on him defaulting out, the fans are missing out on seeing him though. I can't really see him sitting out simply because he lost.

Lee mff’ing out is gutless. It shows no heart. Every single man competing this weekend is injured. Some to a higher degree than others. Go out there and finish your stellar career in style with a couple techs or pins. Terribly disappointing ending to an otherwise fantastic career. As a fan I’m extremely disappointed.

I have always rooted for Lee, except against NATO. But unless he tweaked a knee, which it didn’t look like, it is not a good looking end to a great career. 1, 1, 1, 3 would look much better than this.

In addition to his coaches, we may also have seen a glimpse of where else he gets his attitude: his mother’s tantrum was nothing short of bizarre. We have all seen some of the biggest hothead parents handle losses better.

I think it astounding how Lee performed on two surgically repaired knees.

Roe -

I guess I’d be inclined to cut Spencer Lee’s mom a bit of slack.

As all of us know, this sport can take your emotions to the highest of peaks, then the next moment, to the lowest of valleys.
We’ve all lived this, to some extent.
But none of us to this magnitude.

And when I’m at that lowest part of the valley, here’s hoping the moment’s not caught on video, and broadcast for the world to see.

Ugh.
It was horribly painful to watch.
