Congrats to this young man on his decision to attend a great university. As with all Ohio HS wrestlers, wish him nothing but the best.
Looking at it from an Ohio college perspective, this is a head scratcher. Ironman champ as a Junior, state champ and OW (per Willy), and 13th on Willy's 2024 Big Board. I guess in my head with the history of DeSales talent going to OSU, I just thought that would be the case here.

I just think there were bigger needs at other weights OSU is looking at.
Yes i'm sure they recruited him but maybe not a top priority with 4+ years of Geog, Rogotzke, Shumate.

Congratulations that is awesome. I think he will be a 285 in college and with Feldman on roster for next 4 years there isn’t much of a need for Bucks.

I'm sure I'm alone on this one, but if you've ever been to the University of Virginia, it would seem to be an easy decision. That place is absolutely beautiful.
Also, a few Ohio prep stars have had some success down at UVA...Jedd Moore comes to mind.

Not alone Michael. I attended Liberty U in Lynchburg VA. Got to go to the UVA campus a couple of times. It is everything you say it is.
