It is now worth three points. I like that a takedown is now worth three times more than an escape. However when big takedowns are scored at duals and at ncaas are people going to now scream three instead of two. I just don’t think it’s going to sound as good lol. Anyway just my thought of the day. I am going to have to refrain for screaming TWO!!!!

It is going to be hard for the officials to remember to put up three fingers as well.

The worst part about folkstyle was the "comeback" match where a wrestler who had given up numerous takedowns, kept it close via escapes and late stall calls. We will see how this plays out but I liked it on Who's Number One.

new rule should favor Ohio coaches & wrestlers (& refs) --- "take em down, kick em out" the late Howard Ferguson would be jubilant. "Pressure, pressure pressure"

I'm a huge fan of the rule change.
Only bummer is that OSU more or less fixed the bottom issues last season only to have neutral wrestling re-emphasized one year later.
