When Flynn was coach at Edinboro this was a competitive dual meet. I wonder if the new coaches are hampered in any way by reduced scholarship money. I know that there were financial issues with Edinboro University as a whole the last few years.

I know Edinboro isn't good and missing a few solid starters...but this Bucks squad is wrestling with a sense of purpose I've rarely seen. They are fundamentally sound, focused and determined. Kudos to the wrestlers and coaches.
In the past we've noticed when something wasn't right in the room. So when there's a really good vibe about this team, it's equally obvious.

Agreed. There is an aggression to these team in the first two duals this year.

Edinboro certainly not the program from several years ago, but the Buckeyes are focused and super aggressive. Adhering to the axiom I remember reading from another poster, despite the score, first pin wins.

I ended up getting JLJ’s set. #MuchLove my man.
Crowd was okay in numbers but into with each TD & PIN!!!!!!
This team is certainly top 10. (I think they were #11 or #13 the last I checked.) Dual meets are tricky due to match-ups but I think OHST is top 7. They are wrestling with great technique and impressive aggressiveness. Y’love to see it.
The commentator gave a stat that BORO did not earn an offensive point the entire match. Yikes!

Edinborough being beaten 54-0 is not good for wrestling. This is the program of Baumgartner for crying out loud. This program was in trophy contention in and around 2014. They were leading lambs to the slaughter out there. Who is the coach currently?

Jared Ball: Matt Hill is his name. Announcement today was that this is his 6th year. I ***think*** he wrestled for Edinboro but something in my mind is saying there is a tie to Kent State. Maybe a late transfer???

Yeah, they took third at NCAA's in 2015! And to where they are now, yikes. But I still want to watch a dual at their place someday just to see the plaid mat. Hopefully they still have it.
