The future Buckeyes heavyweight followed his Ironman title with a title at the Beast of the East over the weekend.

Not sure how he fits into the program’s longterm plans with Nick Feldman also in the fold, but I’m glad he’s coming.

Neves began his high school career in Ohio at St. Paris Graham and now wrestles for Blair Academy. He was committed to Stanford then flipped to Ohio State after Rob Koll left for North Carolina.

He is a good get that is flying under the radar.

That kid is SOLID!!!!!! I'm a fan. Having two guys strengthen each other all the while providing the team a solid back-up is awesome. I am glad he is choosing to be a Buckeye. (Although a Stanford diploma would be a nice thing to earn.)

Too big to drop to 97? Wasn’t he a lot lighter at SPG?

Neves confirmed in a recent interview that he’ll be at heavyweight in college. Walks around at I wanna say 235-240.
