McCrone drops his rematch against Pederson. Pretty poor match management during the last minute of the match. He loses on a riding time point in which the match was tied 2-2 with a minute left and Pederson had over two minutes of riding time. He lazily cuts him with under 30 and let's him back on his legs to lose in a stalemate position

Well fudge.
That - Teske over Bouzakis - sucked.
And I give an “F” to Big Ten Network, for its coverage.
This was the marquee match of the first round, certainly the one everyone seemed to be talking about.
Yet BTN opted to show only limited portions of it.
At a minimum, if BTN felt compelled to cut to another - run of the mill - match, it should have gone to split screen.
Bummer.

Well..no one can say the Bousakis/ Teske match wasn’t exciting. This is going to sound stupid but it was predictable. When Nic struggles it’s when he is right off the scale. That’s been the case at Freestyle events, Vegas, etc. Not a great start for the Bucks. The worst part of this is Tom is likely to go on a rant regarding the flawed seeding process. I don’t necessarily disagree

Teske is inconsistent but when he's good, he's a handful.
I didn't like that matchup because I knew Brands would have a plan. Well kept secret is that the Brands are very good coaches.

Osu always struggles at the big ten and seems to fire it up at the NCAA.
I would say, with the level of the big ten the compacted brackets with all stars in them makes it almost as difficult to win as the NCAA in an odd sense.

Just thought our weaknesses at 125 and 165 really exposed. Tough loss for Bouzakas, wish he popped his head out sooner in the third. Wilcox wrestled well in a tough OT loss to Lewan. Still can't figure out how Teske got the 14th seed? Teske is 12-3 and the 11th seed is 9-14 ???

The Bousakis loss stings, but he has shown repeatedly that he is a nightmare on the backside of tournaments. I would expect nothing less here. I don’t think we will get any points out of McCrone at this tournament, he missed his chance in Rd 1. You’d like to see OSU get at least a split of the 8/9 matchups but it wasn’t to be so. Hepner looked awful. The rest wrestled according to seed. Let hope for a big quarterfinal round, the Bucks have a lot of tough matchups. Need an upset or two

Teske seed was due to Iowa mistake switching wreslters... I think the switch forced whoever they used to be #14.
