One other very important point.
Of the most productive young wrestlers in the past two years.
Winning overtime matches is paramount to success.
That's about discipline and position.
Jesse last year, three in a row on the consolation side. Rocco this year on the championship side. Feldman in the consolation quarters.
Anyway, significant effort should go into the mindset and preparation that accounts for being able to wrestle this way when called upon to do so.

How fricking impressive was Vito last night!!!!! 0-2 vs. Crookham during the year and he opened up an monster sized can of whoop donkey on him!!!
Welsh got the draw of a lifetime -- and is capitalizing on it. OT, OT, OT. Incredibly impressive.
tOSU has wrestled with toughness and intelligence. Impressive to watch.

Was very pleased to see David Carr win last night. He and O'Toole both seem like fantastic individuals. Their rivalry has been a true, balanced, certainly painful rivalry. At this point, it's cost each of them a national title. And they credit each other for making themselves better.
I want to see Carr finish it on top of the podium. Fantastic wrestler. I also love the bond he and Metcalf seem to have.
Was also pleased to see Vito open up last night. He is so much fun to watch--so physically gifted with quickness an such strong technique. I can't see Fix beating him but who knows.

Are any of the matches re-posted somewhere? I don't have ESPN+. I would love to see the OSU consi matches working up to the Finals tonight. Maybe someone posts them to Youtube?

Feldman bounces back 11-4 over Schultz to finish 5th.
I know it's stupid but Feldman beat Davison twice, Davison upsets Hendrickson who wallops Feldman. Crazy sport.

Feldman takes 5th place, good job. I'm yelling at my TV "DON'T GO UPPER BODY HE'S A GRECO GUY" He scared the crap out of me when he let Shultz under hook him. Nick has some good video this weekend that the staff can look at and fix some mistakes he made.

Pyles said during his preview ‘If Franek can’t beat Kellar he doesn’t deserve to AA.’

What a performance by both Kellar and Andonian. Super deep and talented field, and they both showed out to bring home strong placements in an elite field.
