First big name being mentioned is Hamiti. Would be an absolute fit for the buckeyes. Carr graduates and O toole is going up. He would be one of the favorites at 165. Rumor is Michigan is already on him.
Who from Ohio state goes to portal?
Wilcox maybe?
Shumate maybe?
Cannon?
Ethan Moore is going to hate this but Does Keller go to portal now that he can maybe get paid? Big tournament out of him.
This is where big schools snatch the small schools talent up. Other names will all be cominh out soon I’m sure.

Michigan has one Mantanona brother and another on the way in #1 150. If you were a top recruit would you consider Michigan with the way they bring in one year rentals? 3 of their AA were one year rentals.

No, but they weren't exactly winning the recruiting battle in recent years.
Seems like a simple enough strategy. Target a one or two blue chip recruits per year, and buy the rest of your team. Bought them a trophy this year, for whatever that's worth.

I don't see Wilcox entering the portal. Very real possibility he's your starter next season at 157 or 165.
Of course all that changes if a kid like Peyten Kellar enters the portal.
Personally, I hope Kellar stays at OU. They have a nice trio at 149-165 and a decent 285. Perrine has had some good moments as well. They're not far away from being an upper echelon MAC team.
If I were betting on a Buckeye to transfer, it would be Hepner.

Who do you see pushing him out of the lineup? Wilcox moving up to make room for Sasso? I'm just saying that i assume your belief was based on him losing his spot. If he's the presumptive starter, would you also think he enters the portal?

I don’t get the ROI for the school or program.
So UM gets a team trophy. Cool. Did it gain revenue? Lead to a recruiting advantage?
This will right size because these NIL deals are backed by boosters. They have to go to the same boosters time and again. Pretty soon the business aspect will be understood.
Football the only sport where renting a player for a large sum could make a meaningful monetary impact.
