The one point of contact rule should make the out of bounds calls a bit more straightforward. Seems similar, but not identical, to the college rules, since college rules refer to being in the cylinder versus being in contact.

As of now, we don't have a cylinder. We shall see what the future holds.

I really don't think it changes very much, calling OOB's is not all that difficult. The biggest issue is/was having two "supporting points" on the mat and looking for where the knees are in a fall or NF situation. Knees inside the boundary, all is good. Past the boundary, you are OOB's. Without an assistant, that is not easy.

I think the BIG change is making reference to "point of contact" as opposed to "supporting parts". They are very different.
