Glad Rocco has wrestled Starocci once before, so he knows what to expect. It was a one TD win for Starocci. What an unbelievable turn of events, Carson goes down and Rocco is forced to give up his RS, now he is in the NCAA finals tomorrow. Wow!

Bucks are 6.5 pts out of 2nd place.
Just imagine where they would be with a healthy Sasso.

He wrestled the perfect match and for a split second I thought he was going to take down Kerk.

Yep, perfect match to put himself in a position to win.
I wanted us to win that one as much as any match in the tournament.
All in all a pretty darn good night tonight, four tight matches, won three, two finalists.
But of course disappointed for my high school teammate/college roommate’s son, Dylan D’Emilo, would have loved to have seen him garner his second AA honors.

Ohio U's Peyton Kellar pinned Ed Scott to AA and then beat Peyton Robb to assure a top 6 place. Nice job by the Bobcat.

Dean Hamiti dnp at 165. Wow. He is incredibly good. 165 was the toughest wt in the country in my opinion.

One of the best semi-final / bloodrounds (not counting those with former athletes in them) that I've watched in a long, long time.
Amazing, amazing wrestling.

I was a bit bewildered watching Lewis and Griffith wrestle Starocci. Neither made any attacks at all to capitalize on the champ’s wounded leg. Not a single first period attack from either. I don’t know if he is in their heads or what.

I really like Rocco's chances if it is 1-1 in the third period.
I prefer the fight versus the big move which was on display in the Davison versus Bastida match. Davison made it a fight.
Three of Four quarters at 125 decided in overtime.
The number of matches in which guys have to dig deep and give everything of themselves to win is a high percentage.
It's kind of inspiring.
It's brutal to watch wrestlers lose.
There should be an award given to the wrestler who loses in the first round and battles back to third. One wrestler in the running this year, Bennet Berge. Still has two tough matches to win.
Peyton Kellar is a beast.
Jesse Mendez is a smart wrestler.
Feldman has improved so much from the beginning of the year.
Watched the Teemer v Swenson 2nd round match and it was a fight. So many matches are super interesting and highly contested.

I agree with Rex in that it is indeed brutal to watch some of these loses. If you've wrestled at all, your heart has to go out to them. Especially on Friday night consolations.

Feldman I think is the favorite next year regardless of who is coming back….. he is just going to get better. I can only imagine if he didn’t have to take a year off where he would be right now.

Looking back at Feldman, he lost to Kerkvliet 1-0, and has beaten Davison twice this year and they are in the finals tonight. And this was without really RS last year due to the neck injury.
