Just because you tech-falled me this time Rex...does not mean you have a chance to beat me next time. I will focus solely on you in my training for the next year. Take no prisoners. I will flex my muscles at every victory and I will destroy you. I'm tired of loosing to you. I'm putting an end to it right, uh....next time!

Rex (and the other 28 guys that beat you) is the monster in your closet. He scares you and makes you stay up and night very afraid.

I.... woke up this morning hoping that last night was just a bad dream. It wasn't. Why is the world so dark? That Taylor winning would have won given me victory as well is the cruelest part.

This is how Alan Waters must have felt, losing his finals berth by two seconds of OT riding time. If I had known it would be this close, I would have put that much more thought into it. If I had known---if I had...

You all can't see me right now, but I'm handling this result like Tony Ramos. Toward the 30 of you that I beat, I'm shoving you down after whistle and then nodding my head in your face like an arrogant bastard. To Steve, I'm mouthing off a la the 2012 Big Ten Finals.

Wanted to thank Brady for doing this. It was a lot of fun and I'd say that even if I didn't win. I know what Ben was going through during that last match. Amazing that it came down to Dake v. Taylor to settle the tiebreaker!
Thanks again Brady and by the way, what do I win?

Oh you have NO IDEA what's about to hit you! You are going to get tossed with my famous Campbell Souper. Now, you can talk all of the targeted training you want...but you CAN'T train to stop what is coming on you. Keep training. Don't run. I"M TAKING ON THE SHUTE...and I'm going to savor every point I make you succumb too!

That's all the trash talk I have today. I got a side-stitch just typing that. I have to go throw-up now :-D

Seriously, if you could have a picture that defines your character as a competitor and as a champion...wouldn't you want it to be this one? This is one of my favorite pictures of all time!

Steve - and a large number of you more regular post-ers: Be ready for a PM from me. I've allocated some funds for an upcoming project. I'm currently trying to work out some details to make it available to any newcomers, or even less regular post-ers.

Either way, be ready. Perhaps in the next month or so.

My pleasure, I had a blast doing this as well. Even spent time between Sat sessions seeing what would have been the best possible team you could have selected (posted to page 15) with wrestling loving company that was over.

What you win (and this has to be delivered by those that donated the prizes -- I've nothing to do with that), is posted on pg 9. Special thanks to those guys that donated prizes.

Ben: You picked Odie Delaney...and he placed! You deserved a prize for that alone.

Congrats to Steve Durose. You lurk in the shadows of this site yet proved to be a man among boys.

Golden....you got lucky ;)

As for me....I did very well with six pix. Choosing four guys that didn't place was not so wise.

I did a breakdown of AA per year per coach. Coach Ryan has an average of three per year. 2 for Hellickson and less than 1 for Ford.

Something of interest. Hellickson had a peak year of 5 AA when Tommy Rowlands was a senior. Blake, Kaplan, Johnny Clark, Jeff Ratliff, and J.D. Bergman. 4 Seniors and a freshman.

If you like patterns and note the cycle we are in relative to Logan Stieber and the range of AAs within Ryan's tenure, we are about to have a spike in AAs.

In 2003, The Buckeyes had 3 AAs and the following year was the 5. Tommy Rowlands' junior and senior seasons.

Following this same pattern, OSU will have above the 3(4-5) next year and peak in Logan's senior year to the high end of that variance(5-7) AAs.

We can already start formulating who those individuals will be based upon past history and potential.

This year is huge in terms of development and those potential AAs in '15. If the younger guys have an extremely productive year in 2014, we are looking at 7 AAs.

To win the team title, OSU is needing to score historically 100-130 points.

Doable, although Cael's time at PSU has increased the average amount it takes to win a team title.
