Discussion Topic: Is Illinois a better wrestling state (at the high school level) than Ohio?

would love to organize and put together Ohio's Junior/Cadet dual teams. Also would be able to host Junior/Cadet dual and Fargo training camps. We are here to bring Ohio back to the top once again in high school wrestling

Frank Baxter (Fairmont) used to be in charge of the cadet teams years ago and then after he stopped taking the team there was no team for many years until Aaron Perez stepped up and started taking the freestyle team two years ago, from last year to this year we went from one team to two teams, the program for cadet freestyle is improving with the camp at Prodigy with Nate Carr I think we did a pretty good job with it this year taking 35 kids to Daytona to compete and access to an olympic bronze medalist for a week. Our scarlet team finished in the top 12 and grey team finished 21st. Having one wrestler not make weight and two other weight classes not completeing the competition we did OK. We have an established system for the Cadet Freestyle Team that will only get better.
