Has Dustin Schlatter ever been pinned before Lance did it? In his career?

Who knows? He has been wrestling for some time I would imagine.
But everyone knows Lance Palmer of Ohio State via St. Edward pinned him in an ever so important match for both.

Schlatter has not been pinned in high school or college in folkstyle. The last (and only) time I've ever heard of him being pinned was at the Junior Duals in Freestyle back in high school, when he rolled and pinned himself in a touch fall in about 17 seconds (I also remember reading that he was leading 7-0 at the time).

At the time I was hoping Lance would lock his hands and get the cradle, and get the TD and as many back points as he could. But I see now that he had Dustins arm and that formed somewhat of a cradle. I figured since they have had real close matches in the past, that would be an insurmountable lead. Then the ref slapped the mat, WHAM!! <excited> Great pictures of the pin. If you check out the Ozone site there is a picture of Johnstone putting C.P. on his back, unfortunately the were out of bounds.

fantastic photo work to great victory by Lance
interesting the OSU web site has picture for the dual that is not even one of the match as it is on an OSU mat at least from my eyes - come on Buckeyes modify your site to put this photo in the archives forever

That is sweet!! But it won't happen again. I am not saying that Palmer won't beat him again or that this pin was a fluke, just that it was one of those perfect place at the perfect time kind of things for Palmer to get this pin.
The pictures are sweet though and what a heads up move by Palmer to realize he could stick him there.
