After having to cancel last year, the IRONMAN wrestling tournament returns to Walsh Jesuit HS, Dec. 10th & 11th.

The field of teams and competitors is traditionally insanely competitive (which is was makes it the IRONMAN tournament) but this year's field seems EXTREMELY deep.

According to Josh Lowe's #InterMat rankings, the filed will consist of the #1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 15, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 33, 36, 38, 44, & #46 ranked teams.

Official: #BONKERS

I'll be there. Will I see you!?!?!

Mark - you know of any pre-seeding site or will they publish seeds/credentials prior to the start?

Willie Saylor announced that seeding is taking place today. I inquired about when they'd be released but he has not returned an answer.

Several number 1’s again as usual. However, I’m looking forward to a possible Fishback-Shumate rematch, this time in folk.

Noticed there is another Jordan from Graham listed at 113 - relation to all the others? :)

I'm really liking the new weight classes for Ohio. They seem more balanced to the middle weights, so hopefully, there would be fewer forfeits.

I still think my state of Montana might have the best setup with 13 weight classes. They condensed the 195 and 220 and just made it 205. It works pretty well for small states with schools that would have a hard time making a full lineup. And tournaments and dual meets run a little bit faster.

Also, is anyone else failing to make FloArena work? I can't see brackets for any tournament.

I’ve been using track wrestling for brackets.

Feldman is impressive. Reminds we of a young Kyle Snyder. Expect huge things from him. He may be as good as ordnoff this year. Four time aa Expectations. Shumate seems to have sizzled out and regressed the last couple years. Not sure if burnt out, injuries,or what but not expecting a lineup guy at Ohio state imo. Hopefully I’m wrong but really wish we landed fishback
