Doesn’t seem unreasonable you could feel safe near the campus at that time of day. I’m not trying to be political but with all the attention on the generally rare mass shootings with ak 15s or whatever they are (I’m not a gun guy) we lose sight of the fact that the shootings like Sammy’s are far more prevalent. Handgun violence in our neighborhoods is a major problem. Sammy is one tough warrior.        Discussion Topic: Sammy Sasso shot! Hank Kornblut added to this discussion on August 27, 2023 I am devastated to hear about the damage Sam has suffered but grateful he's alive and has a good long term prognosis. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him wrestle over the last several years. He competes with a level of skill and passion that few can match. Sometimes you just want to thank someone for the pleasure you've gotten from watching them compete. That is definitely the case with Sam Sasso. Sam--thank you so much for the amazing job you've done as a competitor. Being your fan has been a privilege.
