All this kid does is win against everyone. Another victory at whose number one against Larkin. Larkins dad was a hodge trophy winner. He has won at Ironman, super 32, Fargo over phenom jax Forrest. I mean basically every big event he entered.
Looks like he will be a 133 or 141 in college. I am curious what Ohio state does with him. He is not a guy who will be sitting the bench. Maybe mendes goes up to 149? If not one of these guys will have to sit on the sideline. I wouldn’t be surprised if davino is better than bouzakis next year. I guess it’s a good problem to have but Ohio state will be best with all three of these guys in the lineup at the same time.

He might be a 125 for a year or two. Not always easy to tell on TV, but I thought Larkin looked a good bit larger than Davino. I’m with you though, if he can’t make 125 then some tough decisions will need made soon.

Yes bouzakis is going to be a good one but Davino may even be better imo. Davino beat Jax Forrest 5-1, and 8-1….. let’s look how good Jax Forrest is
Jax Forrest pinned mccrone in 44 seconds
Jax Forrest majored Andre Gonzales
Jax Forrest beat unger from Cornell who is ranked 7 on Flo currently.
If Davino was a buckeye this year at 125 he would be a very high All American in my opinion. He doesn’t cut hard and would more thank likely be here. After a year in a college wrestling room I can only imagine will get very good. If he can’t go 125 I guess it will be a very good problem to have. They need to have all three in lineup at same time to maximize points.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that all three will be in the lineup together, or will be wrestling at another program. None of the three will be burning a year of eligibility at TOSU while sitting the bench. Perhaps that is why Coach Ryan suggested several weeks back that Mendez might grow to 149.

Davino is as fine a prospect as the Bucks have ever recruited.
Just watched his Who's Number One bout...wow. Not saying he'd beat Bouzakis but this is the sort of kid who challenges for a title every season.
