I don’t see any Buckeyes registered for either of these qualifying events. Last year Mendes and Bousakis both medaled at worlds. People register late for these things all the time, but I’d be very surprised if no one went. I thought for sure we’d see Feldman go after he missed last year.

Lots of buckeyes have entered. Kilkeary, mccrone, both Bouzakis, cannon, Gonzales, shierl, bell, Shumate, Rotogotzke are the ones off memory.

I just looked at the list that is posted on Flo. I saw Shumate, Bell and McCrone but not some of the others that were mentioned.
NVM, I was only looking at those who listed there state as Ohio. The others that were mentioned listed their home state (e.g. Pennsylvania for Bouzakis)

I wonder why Davino has been sitting out for these tournies. He was a world team
Member last year. Also wish Feldman was here. Maybe he’s limiting matches bc of his injury? Those are the two I was bummed that aren’t going.

I see that they both were added as entries that is great. Davino has a really tough bracket. I can’t wait to see him. Vega is the one guy who has actually beat him in the last couple years. He got taken down late at the end of the match against him at super 32.Blaze and Nasir Bailey and kyler Larkin also. If he wins this field I think he’s clearly ahead of Bouzakis already.
Feldman shouldn’t have much trouble except for kirkvliet. He has narrowed the gap each time. Let’s see if I can pull it off. He looks better every time he steps on the mat after injury.

I'd watch a lot more greco if everyone was as adept at scoring as Rogotzke. He is one heckuva exciting wrestler regardless of style.

Rogotzke is also in the U20 92 kg. Freestyle finals. He wins the 87 kg. greco and now he is back in the 92 kg. This guy is wild!

Man, Blaze is so elite. Wrestling up a weight and still makes the world team over one of the best in the country. He had some elite training partners this week with the Purdue kid and Micic helping him prepare.
Rygotske had no answers for Sinclair. Lots of slow developing shots with no setups. He just walked behind him on several of them. Let’s see if Bousakis can make another return trip

Rogotzke wrestled Mirasola, not Sinclair. Mirasola took down Aaron Brooks twice at the Olympic trials.
