Flo listed the wrestlers for Clarion Open, no Cannon, Paddy, Sasso & Kharchla. Welsh at 174 listed as unattached and Rogotzke at 184 is also listed as unattached, not sure why?

Wrestling unattached allows them the option to red shirt if they choose.

Paddy Gallagher is listed as a pre-seed on Flo. Is there independent information that he won't be there?

133 should be fun with Bouzakis, Davino, and Michigan’s Ragusin.

Bruce, I just listed what in shown in Flo, but registration is still ongoing, so who knows who will show up from this point forward.

The registration on Flo I believe has changed. Gallagher was there earlier and now he’s not. And Rocco Welsh is listed at 184 pounds. Very interesting.

And now Rogotzke is not listed anymore. I'm guessing we won't know who is wrestling and who is not until they actually post the brackets.

Ben Davino beats Leete from American 14-3. Leet was a national qualifier last year. He wrestled Crookham to a 4-3 match at nationals and only lost to Vito 4-2. Davino absolutely dominated him. I have my money on Davino beating Bouzakis.
Rocco welsh going 184. Makes the best possible lineup. Kharchla didn’t come back to sit. Hopefully he has a healthy season. He’s not expected to return until next semester.
No paddy, hepner, Rotogotzke, sasso. I have a feeling Sasso may wrestle a dual or two but being in the lineup probably isn’t a reality.

Sasso hasn’t wrestled live at practice since the injury, according to Tom Ryan. That’s discouraging. My guess is we don’t see Sasso compete until January, if at all.
Hopefully Rocco is still making his way to 174. If he goes up it creates a logjam in future seasons. My eyes tell me Rogotzke is a longterm 184. Plus, Kharchla isn’t healthy and I’m not confident he’ll be able to return to peak form.
But the staff knows more than I do.

If Bouzakis and Davino reach the final will the staff let them wrestle? I could see a double forfeit.

I watched Geog's first match and it's a continuation of last season. He looked good early and got a quick takedown but didn't ride at all. Then he seemed to plateau. His opponent kept taking ground and the ref should have called stalling but didn't. He eventually found his way to more points but it's not a lot of fun to watch this version of a guy who's clearly a lot better than he's showing.
Vinny Kilkeary looks physically beat up. He was wearing a shoulder harness and tweaked a knee early in what turned out to be a very tough early bout. He won on riding time. He's aggressive but looks as if he needs time to heal up (assuming he's not in need of surgery). McCrone looks excellent. One thing I love about him is he's always on the hunt for points.
(in fairness to Geog, he looked much better his second match)

Davino is really good. He reminds me a lot of Marcus Blaze. Both have fantastic handfight and extraordinary technique which overcomes their opponents physical prowess. I don't see how one can ignore the fact he's just a better technician than Bouzakis. We'll see how the staff handles it.
Rocco Welsh to 184? I certainly hope they made this move because it's too much of a cut to make 174. We all know Kharchla has talent but we also understand his injury history. I would not bump Welsh to insert Kharchla unless it was based on an obvious need for Welsh to move up. At first glance he seemed good sized at the weight.
Just noticed that Welsh is wrestling unattached

Davino wins 5-2 with takedown at the end. He could be a legitimate title threat imo. Tom may have a tough decision upcoming.

How about Brock Herman winning 157? Did anyone have that on their bingo card?
Interesting tournament. The competitive situations at 125, 133 and 197 are significant. Could also be a battle at 157 between Paddy and an improving Brock Herman. Some of you might want to talk about 165 as well although I think Birden needs to redshirt.
Good day for the Bucks if you like dominance. Bucks won seven wt classes including the first five plus 184 and 285. Geog lost in the finals at 197 to Michael Beard by decision.
Jesse Mendez won in the finals 14-3 over Luke Stanich, 5th at 125 last season. Stanich defeated Lemley (UM) in OT in the semis.

Yeah, after a poor showing at wrestle-offs, Herman takes the title. If Paddy is having injury issues they may need him. And Birden loss was to a Lehigh senior and that was his only loss today as he took 3rd. Good showing for the freshman. What is Rocco going to do for the All Star show, cut back to 174?
