A few interesting things here;

121.25
As stated above, Logan Stieber is entered at 121. It will be interesting to see him roll with some college guys. I had wondered why Hunter went to FILA Cadets, while Logan didn't (I am pretty sure he is young enough), now we have the answer. Other names at this weight are

- Buckeye Bo Touris
- Illinois state champ Jon Morrison
- Iowa State starter Tyler Clark.
- Andy Pokorny of Nebraska
- Billy Chamberlin
- Zach Sanders of Minnesota
- Ladd Rupp
- John McDonald of Lehigh

- HS national no.1 at 145 Michael Mangrum of Washington.

145.5
Entries include;
- Troy Christian state champ and current Army starter Casey Thome

Pat - great info, thanks.

Was there a link to where I could view the full list of participants? I looked at TrackWrestling but couldn't find a comprehensive list.

Thanks!

Somebody posted a link to trackwrestling on themat, and that link worked. When I tried to back out of it and look at Senior Nationals, the list wouldn't come up, so I guess you need a link. I tried to hit all the bigger names, but this is the whole list:

I will edit the above post as more entries pour in, I assume there will be quite a few late ones. Man, is 163 going to be awesome. Give me Reader and Covington in the finals.

Also at 121.5 is Nikko Triggas which right now he could look like the favorite in this weight. I would love to see a Triggas vs. Stieber matchup here as Stieber has not lost a match in freestyle at all these past few years. 121.5 is looking to be a very tough weight class right now.

The 163 is brutal with argubably the two best high school wrestlers in the nation entered there between Wright and Welch. Reader and Covington have both proven themselves on the collegiate level as well which will only make this weight that much more interesting.

Perhaps someone will have another thought but 145.5 is the best group I've ever seen for this type of tournament for a few reasons. First, the level of talent is fantastic. Second, the talent is from different eras of wrestlng. Kolat to Metcalf, all the top wrestlers around this weight from the last several years, not just a few.

The "interest" factor, as far as the possibility of certain match-ups, may be higher than the talent factor, which is saying a lot.

I will be be interesting see see Palmer go at it with the guys like Bono and Kolat. I also interested to see how J.D. does at 211 after battling the Big guys at Heavyweight all year.

Brackets up for both Junior and Senior Freestyle on TrackWrestling.

Possible Nemec/Weinkam match in the second round, in a battle of Ohio college kids who had terrific red shirt seasons.
