I saw that...where does he fit 157 or 165?

Heflin projected 174 for buckeyes i think.

re 125, Logan Stieber wont be there imo, it does present a problem as to the successor to Triggas. let's see who emerges at Ironman at 112 ? Triggas has 3 more years.

Yes, Nick Heflin is a Buckeye. I just haven't gotten around to interviewing him yet because I've been so busy with everything (including two tests).

Remember you can always view the list of commitments on the recruiting link on the menu to the left. Heflin is listed... http://www.ohiowrestling.net/recruiting/2009.html

Clark is yet another underclassman that has made an early verbal committment. Incidentally, it's a verbal--meaning he could change his mind-- although I suspect he won't. They must have promised him a lot of bucks to land him this early. Clark has a great motor and will make a fine D1 wrestler if healthy. As Bob P has noted in the past, a four year 125 is more valuable than other wt classes and Clark may fit that bill.

As others have noted, Ohio State can't land them all. I also think that the path towards some other Ohio greats--esp. the other Monroeville studs--to Ohio State just got a bit clearer. If Clark out of the picture, then it's more obvious who the Bucks will recruit.

Hank,
I am thinking the same thing - Jamie got $$$ that tOSU couldn't offer him.

Tom,
i am sure Ohio st would have found $$ for Jamie Clark, he just prefered Iowa st apparently. Face it: the lure of being Cael Sanderson is quite powerful.

I don't think anyone can be Cael except Cael.

But they can wrestle for him. <smile>

of course no one would infer any else can be Cael, what was meant clearly is that when Cael calls it has BIG impact. No one overshadows him.
