I just watched the Pucillo vs. Todd match from Vegas and the Russell vs. Jaggers match. I think with the way J has been wrestling he wins this one in a close one, and I really think Pucillo should have won in Vegas. Personal prediction is that OSU wins the majority of the toss up matches in front of the home crowd and the team score looks like a blow out! let's hope some basketball fans make their way over to St. Johns!

Cameron: Pucillo has always been able to work his high C successfully against Todd. But most of their matches have followed the same pattern: Pucillo gets out to a lead then Todd comes back. They've wrestled 5 times with Todd having a 3-2 edge. One big difference would be if Pucillo can figure out how to ride Todd. Todd gets out quick against him. If Pucillo can keep him down for 30-40 seconds after getting a takedown then he can win every time.
Bottom line is these are two of the top three in the country at this weight and they're very evenly matched.
Jaggers looks hot since getting the pin against Strayer. Hopefully he keeps his streak going against Russell. My take on Russell is that he's a very good technician. He's not overpowering or super quick but his ability to take advantage of an opponent's mistake is impressive. I saw his pin against LeClere and he was losing. Moreover, LeClere was taking the match to him. But he hung in, kept it close, and when LeClere got a bit out of position in a scramble, he caught and stuck him. This match will certainly be close.
