Suspects have been arrested. 15 year old girl and 16 year old boy. At least they will be held accountable but being juveniles will probably get offf way too easy!

At 15 and 16, using a gun, and actually injuring someone severely, this seems like a juvenile bindover to adult court. There are potentially much harsher penalties there.
Of course we don’t know all the facts as to the relationship between the boy and girl and the event. Certainly the shooter should be bound over.

This is both sad and sickening. There are mistakes you can learn from. And then there are actions which are too dire to overcome.
I wish the best for Sammy and have no doubt he'll emerge an even stronger person.
The shooters deserve their fate.

Saw a picture posted this morning on social media, of Sammy in a wheelchair outside the hospital (in hospital gown, with IV, etc.), with two folks who I presume are his parents.
Big smile on his face.
So good to see.
And at the same time, absolutely heart-wrenching.
My thoughts and prayers remain with Sammy and his family.

I saw that too. My first thought was - they don't have scarlet and grey hospital gowns!? Seriously!?!?! Pssh.
I am gratful he is alive, with a fighter's spirit and am hoping for a full recovery. #SassoStrong
