"I'd put Logan 1. Credentials can be argued but I thinkk he was a better wrestler. Bar half was amazing. Also Snyder gets points off for heavyweight and going to PSU. Mendez moves to #2 with a champ next yr."
|
No way! Can't pass Snyder. Won an Olympic/World Title while still in Columbus. Neither had a redshirt but Jesse has 14 losses to Kyle's 5 to this point. It's levels to even greatness."

I care way more about college, so logan is #1 for me for sure. Kyle got pinned in the NCAA finals.

Point taken and mad respect for kyle, but when he left he lost Rushmore points for me. I wish I could seperate the resume from my fanhood, but I cant.
Jesse still has lots of work to do to even make this an argument.

197 true freshman getting pinned in a match he probably was going to win before making a mistake isn't too bad. Moving up to 285 being outweighed by 40 to 50 pounds and winning 3 titles is extremely high level of difficulty that we take for granted. Logan was great as well though and we can agree to disagree.

Sorry to enter this fray but Snyder's win over 2x champ Gwiz was epic. Is someone really going to argue that Mitch Port or Devin Carter (who was competing without knees...something like that) was somehow a tougher opponent? And, as I recall, there was a bit of controversy in the win over Jordan Oliver....
One can argue that Stieber was the better college wrestler than Snyder but there are cases for both sides. Can't go wrong picking either one.

Ranking the forum contributors:
1) Rex Holman
Rex is the only one on this forum who'd be ranking worthy in both categories.
