So he's to blame for getting shot???
Yeah, that's a hard pass for me.

There's a reason Sammy was in a back alley at that time of night. He wasn't looking for girl scout cookies.
I would suggest you reconsider giving money to another gofundme for him should they ask again.

You are the king of cryptic innuendo with no back up. Im not suggesting you’re wrong because I don’t know him but this is about third topic in the last year you launched some scathing bomb at someone without supporting reference.

Jeff has a platform to express his opinion. I support that, but do not agree with his statements. I would refer Jeff to the police report, and Sammy’s victim statement in court. At no point was there mention of drugs, or criminal behavior by Sammy from any of the assailants, period. We can all speculate, make statements without fact, but the facts were laid out in the courtroom and I would recommend taking a look at it.

Every time I've seen you post it's some sort of negative innuendo or criticism.
If you're going to make an accusation, make it. Don't beat around the bush. You want to be a vocal critic, at least have some stones.

For me the mental health aspect is overlooked. PTSD is real and I hope that he gets the help he needs. Of course you should obey the law and be held accountable however, I can understand why he might feel like he needs all the guns and marijuana.

"Sammy Sasso is no longer part of Lehigh’s coaching staff. His name has been removed from the team site following his July 17 arrest. Preliminary hearing is still set for July 30. https://t.co/clmgoiuAom pic.twitter.com/One2q6Y6Fl"

Apparently yesterday there was an update on the charges against Sammy. His charges were apparently lowered from the felony gun charge to misdemeanor. In addition, the guns in his car were all legally purchased and in his name.

Though I have been somewhat removed from the criminal realm the last few years, I am not sure what he is accused of is even a crime in Ohio.
That is not to infer I agree or disagree with Ohio law in that area nor do I give him a pass when he’s on the cusp of getting a college job.

So, Edmond Ruth was going to wrestle at Lehigh but was arrested on drug charges, THC and mushrooms, and subsequently dismissed from the team.
So, if Lehigh were to say, no worries, the position is still yours, what message would they be sending?
Some of the best wrestlers are recreational and performance enhancing drug users.
Some are abusers or addicts (alcohol being the low-lying fruit). Athletes are prone to obsessive-compulsive personalities or rather those traits manifest and some cope with drug to improve performance or as a recreational pursuit.

I assume you’re making a general comment and not thinking I believe he should get the Lehigh job. As I indicated, I do not give him a pass on this. Bad move at a bad time.

Roe-
My intention was that Lehigh could not offer him a job based on past recent practice.
If they were to do so, could'nt Ruth have said why did you not extend to me that same lifeline.
Nothing aimed at you.
