Bucs win over Mich in spite of Stiles & Cannon not wrestling. Fishback and Feldman were so so close to getting the winning TD, but couldn't quite finish. Bouzakis gets the MVP with a cow catcher pin. His confidence level has to be high. They have Iowa, PSU and Maryland to finish out the dual meet season.

Ohio State could realistically have four finalists: 25, 33, 41,57.
AA's: 49, 74, 84, 285

On the right day I guess anything is possible. Even if Cannon was fully healthy, which he is not, 157 is so replete with elite depth (as is 133), it’s hard to call that shot. If he managed to wrestle against PSU we will see. P.J. Duke is an absolute title contender. Meyer Shipiro looms large as well.
Davino has a rematch with a rejuvenated Ayala, and Marcus Blaze in the next two weeks. I hope we feel the same way heading onto Big Tens.

Bucks are looking a bit tired especially the guys facing elite opponents each week. Next week is brutal. Then they get a break.

I noticed the Bucs have almost three weeks between their last dual and the Big Ten Championships, where most of the other schools only have two weeks off. That's not to say the others won't rest most of their starters, we'll see.

Ohio state looks tired right now and needs a break. They have scheduled maybe too brutal of a dual schedule. I think Oklahoma state looks like they have passed Ohio state. The key weights for a team trophy will be 133 and 157
Davino can finish anywhere from 1-8 and I Don’t even know how to rank these guys because the top guys haven’t even faced each other. Larkin, blaze, Davino, Seidel,Forrest, and Byrd are all undefeated. If you look at just scores then Siedel is the best of them all and no one talks about him. Siedel closest match has been 12-0 against Knox. He is an absolute beast from top.
Siedel pin Ortega
Siedel 17-0 shawver
Siedel 15-0 cortez
Forrest 4-0 Ortega
Davino 4-1 overtime Cortez
Blaze 12-2 shawver.
Cannon is ranked one but has really only wrestled Taylor in top ten. It’s another absolute gauntlet and cannon if not healthy won’t even place. A healthy cannon can win or lose to anyone in top 10 imo.
There is such a fluctuation of what these weight can score Ohio state could finish anywhere from 2-5 depending on how they do imo.

If that’s true then Ohio state went from small chance to zero chance to beat Penn state. It may however give him the number one seed at big tens.
1. Cannon
2. Taylor
3. Duke
4. Millard
5. Webster.
That sets up an easy path to finals and a good draw at NCAAs.

That's smart. I could care less about the rest of the duals. I'd rest Fishback, Stiles and anyone else who needs it. I know Tom cares so I'm in the minority.

Hi Nick -
Even assuming healthy, there ain't no "easy path" to the finals.
Not in the Big Ten.
Plus, Millard is a tough out.

I agree, the big prize is an NCAA title. Get as healthy as possible for the NCAA run, and also the Big Tens for better seeds. J Jaggers never was a Big Ten champion, but he attained two NCAA titles, and that's what people and history will remember him for.
