It seems to be the concensus that Burroughs is moving to 157.

Lots of speculation that Caldwell goes to 157 as well.

I hear what you are saying, Scott. It seems odd to me that he would move from 141-149-157, but hey, why not.

The sarcastic part of me wants to say he needs to find a school before he finds a weight, and that is partially true. The three schools that have been linked to him in rumors have been Rutgers, TOSU, and Nebraska. It has been speculated that Scott Winston will end up at 157 for Rutgers, and from a coaching standpoint, the team is better off with him there and Caldwell at 149. At Nebraska, same thing, just put Burroughs' name in for Winston. At OSU, he would likely be funneled to 157 to wrestle off with Johnstone and Nemec, talk about depth.

I haven't sifted through all the posts on this subject on the national forums, but I thought the initial reason for the transfer was a desire to play a little pigskin.

Is this not the case? Or is this just an excuse to get out of NC State?

As much as his emergence meant to that program, this has to be tough to deal with.

It was rumored that that was a, if not the, source of the issue. I have to imagine that if he wants to play football, he knows Ohio State isn't realistic.
