Thoughts on going after #1 2024 kid Angelo Ferrari?
Flo has him as #1 2024 recruit. A lot of family baggage but no denying kid is a stud.

Me personally absolutely take him. Try to get the culture in the room to rub off on him. Him and all his brothers are package deals more thank likely, unless A.J. is done wrestling which could be the case. Tom Ryan slim chance takes him however. Risky recruits have not went well for him in his career. But he is a kid that can be the difference in winning a national championship if he can keep it together off the mat.

I think any Ferrari is a stay away. Perhaps the youngest is a great kid, who knows, but you recruit him you're recruiting the whole family.

Well said Nick."

Yeah... shows how important it is to have elite coaches. I'm glad to see a young guy like Collin Palmer doing so well. We need more guys like that diving into coaching youth to high school.

If he's talented and fills a need, begin the recruiting process. If during the process and discussions with him, family, coaches, etc. raise a number of red flags currently or for the future, it ends there. Just because his brothers are problematic doesn't necessarily means he's trouble.

Completely agree, but I think the reason many are saying to stay away from the whole family is because, at least so far, it seems like the whole family tends to insert themselves into situations, so even if you recruit the one kid who seems like a good egg, the rest of the family would have an effect sooner or later.

Keep in mind, Ohio State recruited A.J. Ferrari hard. Tom Ryan should already have a good read on the family. This is not starting from scratch.
A.J. is an idiot but let’s not hold the others responsible for the ways of their brother. I say the Bucks should recruit him until there’s a good reason to stop.
While they’re at it, the staff should go find the next Luke Geog, Nick Heflin or Kollin Moore - an under the radar type who finishes his HS senior season as a total stud.

give me my banjo ... theres a story to be told here, a yarn fit for a minstrel, a tail untold ...if y'all only knew.
and imo u bring kids in who fit and enhance your culture, u don't hope a kid becomes a part of existing culture....
None other than Woody Hayes said the word he hated most was "hopefully"

FYI Nick your favorite wrestler W. Betancourt is no longer part of the PSU program.
Side note: Robbie Howard is done for the year with an injury.

That sucks, both for him and for Penn State. I felt like he was roughly the level of Heinselman. On a good day he could All American, but he was going to qualify and win lots of dual matches throughout the season.
