"Well said, Roe!
Hope is a virtue, and it's a much better way to go through life. Living in fear can wear you down and make a person give up.
I might think that Joe Biden would be a terrible president, but I will not let him ruin my life. I recommend a similar attitude towards our current president. I'm going to try to thrive and root for the Buckeyes regardless of whose president or governor, etc."
|
Mr. Henderson if only this were true. Up to this point in time I would have agreed with you. But this is different than anything I have witnessed in my life. I think where we are as a country is pathetic. trump supporters booed our lt. gov for asking them to wear masks just yesterday. last I checked taking care of your fellow man was a virtue we should all strive for. trump himself said the virus doesn't affect anyone but seniors. I thank him for his concern. I served 12 years as a medic in the Army reserve to be told I'm now old so take one for the team, really? Due to this attitude I truly fear for my wife"s life, much more than myself, each time I have to go to the grocery or doctors. I have always voted for whom I consider the best choice and that has included republicans. All presidents on both sides have done things I liked and things I did not like. Never have I seen anything like this total disregard for human life. Oh lord do I miss the time when our biggest disagreements were about to redshirt or not."

I’m a mask wearer and proponent for reasons I have stated before. But I really hope peaceful protests don’t cause you to give up on America. I would be more concerned with protesters who destroy businesses of innocent people who very well may support the same cause.
A person with whom I am very familiar is over 60, has been wheelchair bound for decades, fighting numerous ailments over the years associated with that. Three weeks ago he went into the hospital ICU with a severe infection. He caught COVID-19, confirmed through numerous test and...went home last week. I don’t understand this thing and I don’t think the government does, either. But I prefer to be cautious.
I still think it would make the most sense to have Kinner at 49, Sasso at 57, and Carson at 65.

Well said Mr. Fox and nice pivot, I just can't help this feeling that we have a very young and talented team that is going to make serious noise in the NCAA tournament, I also have this feeling that the RTC isn't at the same level as PSU and Michigan(yah that hurt) in general I feel like that mostly because of Snyder, that was a big hit to the program, yes Cox is at his level for sure, but being a Phil Wellington fan, I have always rooted against him, I guess it will take some time to realize he is part of the program. There is a great deal of freestyle experience in the younger bucks that will help the RTC build.

With Echemendia's offense and Sammy's mat wrestling prowess, they compliment each other very well as workout partners. Just hoping we get some news from the Big Ten about the season.

Given that Brown is only a junior, I'm hoping he slots into the void that has been 157 for the Bucks in a couple years.

BTW: There are a ton of videos of Gavin wrestling on the interwebz. Different venues, different styles, different age groups. He seems like a true mat-rat.

Saw on Twitter a little while ago Richie Figueroa, a top 10 senior P4P according to FLO, is sticking with his commitment to ASU.
For quite some time there was speculation he may be going elsewhere with the Bucks a strong contender. This is certainly a huge bummer, especially with how thin the team is at the lower weights.
Time to get back out there and keep filling the voids.

I never understood why so many people were still hot for Richie Figs after he committed (I am aware that he is really good and at a hard to find weight). After recent years I'll take the guys that stick to their commitments and want to be here. Good for Figeuroa for sticking with Zeke and ASU even if it isn't good for the Buckeyes.

And weigh enough to be a legit 25.

The Bucks sign a small class on NLI day. Andres Gonzales and Paddy Gallagher are official. No seniors, outside of potentially Traub, are slotted for positions in the lineup. With no real money coming off the books and major cash crunches at Ohio State and other institutions, I’m not surprised at the smaller class size. Landing the best guy in your state is always a must, and Gonzales is a top ranked light weight, but I agree with the sentiment that he’s not someone that could fill in immediately. Unless he gets huge, which may be possible, Gonzales is still a couple of years away. Depth wise you just landed crucial need weights in 125 and 165, potentially.
Shumate (184/197) and the Legacy Christian kid (157) are next years crop. Where do you look next? Heavy? 133?
