There are rumors on another board that Ech would be transferring.

All things considered I’ll take D’Emilio.

Ech needs to focus on freestyle. He's too much of a talent to goof around with college. Send him to Colorado Springs or make his sole focus the Ohio RTC.

I think the Decaturs might benefit from a change as well. I think both have talent but Ohio State may not be the right program. Jordan needs to be at a weight where's he comfortable and Jacob could help someone at 125.

PA trounces all with 17 AAs, Illinois next with 6, ohio a measly 4. ..Tariq, Heil,Byrd, Carr.

the decline ive talked about for several yearsin Greater Cleveland is taking its toll. No YMCA or CYO support anymore around here.

Can’t win in college if you can’t wrestle on the mat - so agree that Ech should aggressively pursue FS.

D’Emilio has the mental and physical make up to make a big jump.

Ohio hs wrestling is significantly down. We are not the state that used to dominate NHSCA Sr Nationals every year. We have become haves and have nots in terms of hs programs.

For what it's worth, this is a quote from TR sometime after the Iowa dual, as reported by ElevenWarriors:

“Bottom position is a direct correlation to our coaching,” Ryan said. “I think bottom position is a coaching staff issue; that's on me, that's on our staff. And it's something we absolutely have to address, and it'll be addressed after the season.”
